 I went the The Art of Video Games exhibition,

played some Pac Man on a

Saw some awesome kids' drawings on a wall at the 

National Portrait Gallery

and last but not least ...

 ... I walked the stairs where Friedkin shot one of my favorite 

scary movie:

.sempé.

Lately I've been inspired a lot by Sempé. During my trip back home,  my buddy Adam picked up one of his art book. I knew and read a bit of Sempé when I was a kid but I unfortunately did not appreciate his drawings until now. 


I love the way he focuses on story and tells it with the simplest and fewest of lines. He sometimes uses a hint of shade and color to emphasize the character but the main purpose is Story and it tries to tell it as fast as possible.
